Job summary

DriveTime is seeking an Automotive Reconditioning Technician to overhaul, rebuild, and renovate vehicles to the DriveTime standard. You will inspect for cosmetic repairs, perform glass work, and ensure equipment and workspace safety while meeting throughput and quality targets.

The role requires an 18+ driver with a valid license, a HS diploma or GED (or automotive cert/2+ years experience), and the ability to learn DriveTime procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; automotive tech certificate or 2+ years experience in repair.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify cosmetic repairs per DriveTime standards.
• Perform glass repairs as needed and review with supervisor.
• Use, store, and maintain equipment properly.
• Maintain daily performance logs and report to manager.
• Achieve throughput, efficiency and quality goals.
• Ensure consistency with DT standards among staff.
• Communicate issues to appropriate cosmetic staff and managers.
• Conduct daily area inspections for clean, safe workstations.
• Project a positive DriveTime image and contribute to a professional environment.
• Adhere to DriveTime policies and safety guidelines.
