Pull-A-Part, LLC is seeking a hands-on Parts Puller/Automotive Core Technician who knows automotive parts, uses hand and power tools, and stays active on the job. You don’t have to be a master mechanic—if you have automotive knowledge, mechanical ability, and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts knowledge required.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Remove automotive cores, airbags, and other designated parts from vehicles using hand and power tools.
• Pull automotive parts from vehicles for customers through our Customer Part Pulling Program.
• Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on your tools and equipment.
• Maintain wheelbarrows and engine hoists used by customers daily.
• Keep retail stocked with batteries and tires, including charging batteries and de-rimming tires.
• Assist customers with locating and transporting larger automotive parts to checkout.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements.
• Meet individual and team productivity goals while upholding our values of Respect, Help, Learn & Grow.

What You'll Do as a Parts Puller/Automotive Core Technician

What We're Looking for in a Parts Puller/Automotive Core Technician

• Automotive parts knowledge and basic mechanical ability.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Automotive repair, maintenance, parts removal, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
• Customer-service skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to safely work with limited supervision and follow established procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors in an industrial automotive environment in varying weather conditions.
• Basic computer/mobile device skills.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate company yard vehicles as required by the position.
• Ability to work the typical Wednesday-Sunday schedule, including occasional overtime and holidays.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
