Job summary

Pull-A-Part of New Orleans West LLC is hiring an Automotive Core Technician / Parts Puller to dismantle vehicles, remove parts, and assist customers in a busy salvage yard. You will work with a team in an outdoor, industrial setting to support recycling efforts and parts availability.

Ideal candidates have hands-on automotive knowledge, can lift 50 lbs, and are reliable with transportation. The role requires full-time availability with flexibility for weekends or holidays and a safety-first

Qualifications

Advanced automotive knowledge and experience with hand/power tools.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in an industrial setting.
Willing to work full-time hours, including occasional weekends or holidays.
Reliable transportation to work.

Responsibilities

Remove auto parts, fluids, and electrical components safely.
Operate tools and equipment such as air compressors, hydraulic tools, and more.
Perform daily inspections on tools and equipment, report any needed repairs.
Prepare vehicles for processing and maintain organized work areas.
Interact with customers and provide helpful service when needed.
Support inventory reporting and team performance goals.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Your Role

As an Automotive Core Technician / Parts Puller, you'll work with a team in an industrial setting to dismantle vehicles, remove parts and fluids safely, and support recycling efforts—all while helping customers get the parts they need.

What You'll Do as an Automotive Core Technician / Parts Puller

Remove auto parts, fluids, and electrical components safely
Operate tools and equipment such as air compressors, hydraulic tools, and more
Perform daily inspections on tools and equipment, report any needed repairs
Prepare vehicles for processing and maintain organized work areas
Interact with customers and provide helpful service when needed
