Qualifikationen

• Technical Certificate or Associate Degree or equivalent
• 2 years controls experience in a manufacturing facility
• Knowledge of automotive tooling and assembly processes
• Broad industrial controls and automation knowledge for automotive plants
• Strong project management skills
• Knowledge of Automation/Industrial Networks (DeviceNet, Ethernet)
• Willing to work any shift with overtime
• Willing to work daily and weekend overtime when needed
• Bachelor's degree with engineering major is a plus
• Experience with Rockwell PLCs, Siemens HMIs and Fanuc Robots is a plus

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support to controls engineers, IT and skilled trades
• Investigate root cause of system problems and assist resolution
• Develop cost estimates, investment forecasts and plans for projects
• Coordinate with manufacturing engineers on process and equipment planning
• Support GMS and Quality Network implementation initiatives
• Use statistics for continuous improvement of plant systems
• Enforce safe work practices and ergonomics/health/safety/housekeeping goals
• Maintain relationships with peers, union, management, and supplier community
• Develop and monitor project schedules
• Communicate changes to improve assembly processes
• Program manufacturing technology
• Assist in tool/equipment design and improvements
• Assist maintenance in operation and maintenance of equipment
