Job summary

HL Mando America Corporation is hiring a Controls Engineer II to support the controls team in developing algorithms for automotive products. You will design and implement software modules, perform testing, and ensure safe, stable operation of drive systems using MATLAB, Simulink, CAN tools, and C/C++.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2 years of related experience, with a focus on control algorithms and diagnostics. Location is Novi, MI and standard full-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with related field or foreign equivalence.
• 2 years of experience in controls engineering or related roles.
• Experience with control algorithms and automotive software toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Develop control algorithms and software modules to implement them.
• Conduct module-level testing and create requirement traceability and test plans.
• Perform stability analysis and develop diagnostics for drive systems.
• Provide production support and work with customers to ensure safe operation.
