Automotive Controls Algorithm Engineer

Work as an independent yet integral member of a team to develop and implement innovative and creative solutions for vehicle active safety related applications.

• Develop/debug source code for vehicle-based systems and bench simulated environment
• Perform tests and comparisons of internal as well as vendor based active safety sensing technologies
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and consistently demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and with cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

Basic Required:

• MS with at least 1 or more years, or BS with 3+ years working experience in computer engineering/science or related fields
• Strong software development skills in C/C++ for Linux, Microsoft Visual Studio, Matlab or Python, and similar environments
• Knowledge and experience in algorithm and prototype system development
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Additional Information

Experience Preferred:

• Experience in porting algorithm in parallel processors environment (e.g., CUDA, OpenMP, etc.)
• Experience in image/signal processing algorithm development and implementation
• Demonstrated experience in automotive embedded system development.
• Working knowledge of radar, laser, vision, ultrasonic sensing and vehicle positioning technologies applied to development, integration, testing, and validation.
