George Moore Chevrolet in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Controller to oversee all facets of dealership accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, title and tag, and payroll.

The successful candidate will prepare monthly financial statements per dealer and manufacturer guidelines, manage month- and year-end processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while reconciling bank statements. A commission-based pay plan with monthly commissions and bonuses is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record.
• Background check and drug test required; no experience needed; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, title & tag, payroll.
• Prepare monthly financial statements per dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Handle month-end and year-end processes.
• Ensure dealership's financial compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Perform other accounting tasks as needed.
