Job summary

LG Electronics, Inc. in Michigan seeks a Development Engineer II - Connectivity Module HW to drive hardware development for automotive infotainment and connectivity across LG’s mobility platform.

You will collaborate with internal teams and OEM partners, resolve hardware issues, manage APQP, deliver feature-rich solutions on schedule, and uphold high quality standards with a customer-focused mindset. This role requires strong collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to navigate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years automotive experience or equivalent.
• Experience in managing multiple technical projects with cost/quality/timing goals.
• Knowledge of vehicle infotainment and telematics systems.
• Hardware development skills: EE design, schematic, layout, RF/ wireless technologies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve hardware issues and communicate with customers to address them.
• Manage OEM design requests, develop APQP and coordinate third-party solutions.
• Identify and manage feature issues, publish weekly reports.
• Support cross-functional teams in validation, manufacturing, sales and quality.
• Communicate with LGE HQ cross-functional teams on programs.
• Release weekly development progress reports to customer engineers.
• Support Vehicle Infotainment & Telematics features and vehicle interface tech.
