Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced CR Writer in Eads, TN to assess vehicle conditions and document cost estimates after inspections. The role uses a tablet to capture identification data, descriptions and photos, along with repair cost estimates.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, ASE/ICAR certifications, and the ability to multitask and follow up effectively. Prior body shop experience is a plus, and a valid in-state driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE and/or ICAR certifications or background in automotive repair and cost estimating required.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple items simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and kneel; maintain safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilise a tablet to complete all details of the Condition Report, including vehicle condition, cost estimates and photos.
• Make recommendations for reconditioning to increase vehicle value.
• Assess vehicle condition on delivery, document damage or repairs for paint, engine, AC/heater, electronics and tires.
• Maintain knowledge of labor rates, parts charges and manufacturer updates; follow inspection procedures.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety by following predetermined safety procedures.
• Provide sale day assistance including lane coordination, locating/moving vehicles, and starting or jumping vehicles.
