Job summary

Auto Collision Group is seeking a Collision Estimator to accurately appraise vehicle damages and prepare repair cost estimates for customers and insurance companies. You will write complete estimates, order parts, and track progress throughout the repair journey.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with estimating software CCC One, and the ability to explain repair processes and billing to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience communicating clearly with customers and insurance adjusters.
• Familiarity with estimating workflows and parts ordering processes.

Responsibilities

• Appraise vehicle damages to determine repair costs for customers or insurers.
• Write estimates and supplements per guidelines, prioritizing repairs over part replacement.
• Take clear photos of damages and document notes in the system.
• Order parts, verify availability, and ensure correct vendor discounts.
• Track vehicle progress and update production schedules.
• Educate customers about insurance claims and billing procedures.
• Conduct daily meetings with front office to align updates.
• Prepare files for final billing and delivery.
