Job summary

EPITEC is seeking an Automotive Color & Materials Designer for a ~12-month contract in Dearborn, MI. The role involves coordinating CMF masters, collaborating with internal teams and global suppliers, and evaluating materials against color-quality targets.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of CMF experience, an associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), strong Excel skills, and the ability to work onsite four days a week from day one in Dearborn. Hybrid schedule available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Color & Materials experience.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Materials/material-processing knowledge.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Onsite in Dearborn 4 days/week from day one.

Responsibilities

• Track and coordinate color/material masters.
• Work with internal teams and global suppliers.
• Maintain material status and timing in Excel and databases.
• Evaluate incoming materials against color-quality targets.
• Support automotive interior/exterior color and trim programs.
• Resolve material/mastering issues.
• Assist with improving global Color & Materials processes.
