AUTOMOTIVE CERTIFIED SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The Position:

Performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned, following dealer and factory standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Receive repair orders and perform work efficiently and accurately
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs
  • Coordinate with parts department for needed parts
  • Tag, save, and return parts as needed
  • Communicate additional work needs or delays to service advisor
  • Document all work performed
  • Road-test vehicles post-repair
  • Perform quality checks
  • Attend training and stay updated on factory bulletins
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Follow safety and housekeeping policies
  • Comply with all relevant regulations
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
  • Frequent walking, sitting, talking, hearing
  • Lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally
