Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Center Manager to oversee reconditioning operations for partner dealers in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on leading a team, ensuring vehicle readiness, and driving KPIs to improve production, efficiency, and center performance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership experience in automotive detailing, reconditioning, and dealership operations, with strong organizational and communication skills and a track record of accountability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership in automotive reconditioning or related ops.
• Hands-on knowledge of detailing, vehicle readiness, and quality control.
• Experience managing workflow, production goals, schedules, staffing, and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily automotive reconditioning operations including detailing, cosmetic repairs, inspections, and vehicle readiness.
• Lead team members, assign work, manage workflow, and monitor production schedules.
• Track KPIs such as turnaround time, completed units, labor efficiency, quality control, rework, and productivity.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet standards.
• Manage staffing, supplies, equipment, vendors, and costs.
• Coach and train team members on performance, safety, and quality.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and center performance.

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Center Manger for our partner dealers in San Antonio Texas

Job Description

This role is responsible for managing workflow, leading team members, ensuring vehicle quality, coordinating vendors, monitoring labor and supplies, maintaining operational reports, tracking KPIs, and keeping vehicles moving efficiently through the reconditioning process. The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership experience in automotive detailing, reconditioning, dealership operations, service, fleet, car wash, body shop, or auto auction environments. This person should be organized, quality-focused, comfortable holding teams accountable, and able to use reporting and performance metrics to improve production, efficiency, and overall center performance.

Compensation is based on experience up to 65K plus bonuses

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily automotive reconditioning operations, including detailing, cosmetic repairs, inspections, and vehicle readiness.
• Lead team members, assign work, manage workflow, and monitor production schedules.
• Track KPIs such as vehicle turnaround time, completed units, labor efficiency, quality control, rework, and productivity.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet company and dealership standards.
• Manage staffing, supplies, equipment, vendors, and operational costs.
• Coach, train, and hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, safety, and quality.
• Identify process improvements to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and support center performance.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in automotive reconditioning, detailing, dealership operations, service, fleet, car wash, body shop, auto auction, or related automotive operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of detailing, reconditioning, cosmetic repair, vehicle readiness, and quality control.
• Experience managing workflow, production goals, schedules, staffing, and team performance.
• Ability to review reports, track KPIs, and use performance metrics to improve operations.Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Reconditioning Manager, Detail Manager, Automotive Operations Manager, Service Manager, Car Wash Manager, Fleet Operations Manager, or Body Shop Supervisor.
• Experience with labor tracking, cost control, vendor management, inventory, supplies, or operational reporting.
• Familiarity with dealership systems, recon software, or production tracking tools.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
