Job description

Ryan Auto Mall is currently hiring for a part-time cashier at our Buffalo locations. The Service Cashier processes monetary and credit card transactions as well as completes and closes repair orders for the dealership’s clients.

Hours are 3pm - 6pm (hours are subject to change); must be able to work every other Saturday.

Job Responsibilities

• Prints repair orders, parts invoices, bills, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due
• Records amounts received and prepares cash reports of transactions
• Balances cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Processes repair orders, operates credit card and 'Telecheck' machines
• Maintains records of daily transaction documentation
• Calculates discounts, coupons, and charges and applies to proper accounts on repair orders
• Processes and receives Finance and Insurance (F&I) and necessary sales monies
• Assists in scheduling courtesy transportation
• Processes mail
• Assists receptionist with phone calls

Education/Experience

High school students welcome, must be 16. Have one to three months of related experience and/or willing to train; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
