Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Cashier/Receptionist to ensure a smooth customer experience at Northlake KIA. You will handle transactions, calculate bills, and process payments in a fast-paced dealership setting, while maintaining accuracy and a customer-focused approach.

The position requires a high school diploma, cash-handling experience (automotive dealership a plus), and strong communication with a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Other duties as assigned by management
