Automotive Body Technician

The Automotive Body Technician position at Mirak Automotive Group offers a competitive salary ranging from $47,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities:

1. Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs
2. Repair and replace damaged body parts, such as fenders, doors, hoods, and bumpers
3. Perform frame and structural repairs using specialized tools and equipment
4. Perform body alignment and panel adjustment to ensure proper fit and finish
5. Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, priming, and masking
6. Paint vehicles using spray guns and other equipment to match manufacturer specifications
7. Polish and buff painted surfaces for a smooth finish
8. Communicate with customers and provide updates on repair progress
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area
10. Adhere to safety protocols and follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Body Technician in a dealership or collision repair shop
3. Knowledge of vehicle repair and refinishing techniques and procedures
4. Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment
5. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
6. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record
8. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
