Job summary

Main Street Auto in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a skilled B Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of mechanical and electrical systems. You will use diagnostic tools and adhere to safety protocols in a fast-paced shop.

No weekends, Monday–Friday schedule; competitive pay and benefits, opportunities for growth, and a team-oriented environment. Must have high school diploma or related training, and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in automotive tech preferred.
Proven experience as a technician or mechanic.
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical problems and propose solutions.
Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on engines, brakes, steering and transmission systems.
Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and recommend repairs.
Coordinate repair schedules with teammates to maintain workflow.
Document repairs and parts used accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe shop.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance skills.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and tools.
