Job summary

Dickson City Hyundai in Scranton area is seeking an Automotive Technician capable of diagnosing and repairing most systems with minimal supervision. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance and conduct multi-point inspections to ensure quality service.

We offer a five-day work week with no weekends, competitive pay based on experience, paid time off, health benefits, a 401(k), and factory training.

Qualifications

• Automotive technician experience required.
• Hyundai experience is a plus.
• Must have your own tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles.
• Conduct multi-point inspections.
• Complete factory-recommended services and repairs.
• Diagnose drivability, electrical, suspension, brake, and engine concerns.
• Perform road tests to verify repairs.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation.
• Work closely with service advisors and management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Monday – Friday

8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
