Overview

The Assistant Store Manager, together with the Store Manager, oversees business operations and store performance, focusing on safety, efficiency, and profitability. They promote customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth, while managing costs, inventory, environmental compliance, and safety. They provide strong leadership to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Candidate Profile

We seek an experienced manager with an entrepreneurial spirit responsible for operations, financials, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a college degree or coursework (preferred), three years of automotive repair management experience, supervisory skills, P&L experience, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees
• Provide exceptional customer service, including consultations and follow-ups
• Oversee vehicle inspections, prepare repair orders, source parts
• Discuss pricing estimates and promote shop specials
• Lead and train the team aligned with company values
• Manage sales, accounting, and clerical functions
• Oversee vehicle diagnostics and repairs for various car brands
• Maintain inventory and manage inventory losses
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and environmental compliance of the facility
• Handle payroll, record-keeping, and scheduling
• Submit daily sales reports to corporate
