Job summary

UPS in Sparks, NV is seeking a supervisory automotive technician to maintain a safe, reliable fleet and lead teams through the Automotive Development Program (ADP). The role focuses on asset care, cost control, vendor relations, and audits across shifts and locations.

You will supervise automotive technicians, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement through mentoring and training. Strong technical knowledge and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Job Summary

This position maintains a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient fleet of vehicles. The incumbent assists management with the use and care of physical assets, controls costs, manages external vendor relationships, works closely with auto technicians and internal customers and performs regular equipment and facility audits across multiple shifts and locations. This position supervises automotive technicians at the completion of the Automotive Development Program (ADP).

Requirements

• Must reside within the geographic area of the job or willing to relocate- relocation assistance not offered
• Must be able to work Tuesday - Saturday but flexible based on business needs
• Must be able to work Twight light (2nd shift) - rough start 2pm but flexible based on business need
• Must have a minimum of one-year experience in Automotive field
