About the Position of Assistant Manager

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining the safety of team members.

About the Position of Service Manager

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections, recommends rear‑car repair services and ensures complete customer satisfaction through high‑quality repair and maintenance. Service Managers direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information about required repairs, and strive to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
