We are looking for full‑time Automotive Assistants and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the North Caldwell, NJ area. About the Position of Assistant Manager

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics and technicians’ work; managing outside orders; ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and safeguarding the safety of team members.

About the Position of Service Manager

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, the Service Manager directs the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians; stages vehicle repair and maintenance work; drives the sales initiatives of Mavis; communicates directly with customers; assesses customer needs; provides information regarding requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance; and strives to meet customer expectations.

Possess one of the following: (i) one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; (ii) one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
