Job Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced and talented Senior Service Advisor / Assistant Service Manager to provide leadership and support within our large and thriving service department. This role offers a competitive salary, commission, bonuses, and opportunities for career growth within our dealership group.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist clients with their service needs, including vehicle write-ups, maintaining communication, and managing relationships.
  2. Ensure proper dispatching of work to optimize customer experience and technician growth.
  3. Oversee that repairs are completed correctly the first time (Fix It Right the First Time).
  4. Coordinate with technicians to evaluate vehicles and ensure peak performance of advisors.
  5. Consult with mechanics on repairs and cost-effective alternatives.
  6. Inform customers about parts, service options, warranties, and trade-in benefits.
  7. Track vehicle status from entry to completion and act as a liaison between customers and technicians.
  8. Review work orders with customers upon completion to address any concerns.
  9. Maintain positive customer relationships for repeat business.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Must provide references and facilitate calls with references and hiring managers.
  2. Proven track record as a top-performing Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager in a franchised dealership.
  3. CDK experience is a plus.
  4. Strong understanding of automotive technology and industry.
  5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  6. Team player with a positive attitude.
  7. Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Professional appearance and work ethic.
  9. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  10. Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
