Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing in Bradenton, FL is seeking an entry-level assembler to safely assemble equipment by following supervisor instructions. Workers will use a range of mechanical, electrical and manual tools to build assemblies of varying size.

Essential duties include reading measurements, drilling, cutting and fitting parts, and assembling subassemblies. Training and a hands-on approach help support production demands and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3 months of relevant experience.
• Previous experience with basic hand tools.
• Demonstrated experience using various small and pneumatic hand tools.
• Requires the use of simple arithmetic and measuring instruments such as caliper, scale, and measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions to utilize proper tools to align, drill and secure components with correct bolts and torque to specifications.
• Cut, fit, bend, and adjust parts for fit or function.
• Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Assemble parts and subassemblies to create components.
