Job summary

Clutch Technologies Inc. is seeking an Automotive Apprentice Technician to join our reconditioning facility team. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and carry out routine maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and are ready for delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of automotive experience, familiarity with multiple brands, and strong collaboration skills. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years as automotive technician with diagnostic & repair experience.
Experience with a wide range of vehicle brands (domestic, import, European).
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Able to multitask in a busy shop and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Perform Clutch standardized vehicle inspections, including stationary checks and road tests.
Diagnose and assess mechanical and safety issues; identify repairs and preventative maintenance.
Provide repair recommendations based on inspection results.
Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs (brake jobs, suspension, tires, batteries, fluids).
Document all repairs and findings accurately in Clutch systems.
Adhere to mechanical and safety standards; contribute to process improvements.
Communicate status and workflow changes with reconditioning staff and management.
