Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring an Automotive Alignment Technician for a full-time position in the Philadelphia area. The role involves aligning tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting angles, and performing routine vehicle service tasks in a fast-paced center.

Qualified applicants will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, be able to work physically, and ideally hold a state inspection license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• It is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Align wheels using the latest equipment and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure proper vehicle alignment.
• Perform state-m mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as part of routine service.
• Help diagnose and perform additional automotive services or repairs as required by customers.
• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.
