Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians for our Feasterville-Trevose, PA area centers. Technicians use modern equipment to align tires and wheels, measure and adjust angles, and complete basic maintenance tasks to ensure safe, straight travel of vehicles.

The role includes performing inspections, oil/filters, and flat repairs, with opportunities for career growth, on-the-job training, and competitive weekly pay with incentives.

Qualifications

• Eligible: 18+, legally work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs.
• Carry out other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Feasterville-Trevose, PA area. About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

• As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair.
• Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
