Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for our Flower Mound, TX area service center. You will align tires and wheels, perform basic maintenance, and contribute to service quality.

The role requires 1 year of related experience or training, physical stamina, and the ability to lift heavy items. We offer competitive weekly pay with incentives and opportunities for career growth at one of the nation’s largest tire and automotive service chains.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent.
• Preferred state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment to align tires and measure caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure straight travel and even wear.
• Perform oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other routine automotive services as needed.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and assist with other vehicle maintenance tasks.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Flower Mound, TX area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
