Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full‑time Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team in the Alexander City, AL area.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment Technicians use the latest equipment to align newly‑mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, they reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true. They also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities

• Align newly‑mounted tires and wheels using advanced equipment.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs.
• Perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair.
• Regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• One year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Preferred: State inspection license.
