Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at our Piedmont, SC service center. This full-time role uses advanced equipment to align tires and wheels and help customers' vehicles travel straight and true.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of tire mounting/balancing experience or related training; state inspection license is a plus. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent.
• Preferred state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure straight travel.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift items weighing over 50 pounds as needed.
