Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join our service team at our Dallas-area center. You will align tires and wheels, measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, and perform related maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.

Qualified applicants have at least 1 year of tire service experience or training, are 18 or older, and are legally authorized to work in the United States. A state inspection license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Preferred state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Operate automotive alignment equipment to align tires and wheels.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure straight travel.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, tire repairs and other required vehicle services.

Education

1 year of experience or training in tire mounting and balancing
