Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician in Southern Pines, NC. The role focuses on customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, and generating invoices, with inventory control and service vehicle maintenance.

You will perform diagnostics, ADAS calibrations, wiring repairs, and collaborate with teammates. The position is full-time from 8 am to 5 pm; compensation ranges from $60,000 to $95,000 per year, with overtime eligibility and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with 4+ years of automotive/electronic technician experience.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools and wiring repair procedures.
• Ability to service A/C systems and perform diagnostic work.
• Strong diagnostic skills in automotive trades and basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, messaging).
• Willingness to continue learning through educational opportunities and technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Determine testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviewing repair estimates.
• Perform diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Repair wiring as needed and advise on required repairs.
• Maintain stock inventory and coordinate orders with support staff.
• Generate and email service invoices; collect signatures or payments.
• Deliver completed invoices and payments to the office; ensure orderly handoff.
• Keep shop equipment running; perform preventative maintenance and report repairs.
• Collaborate with teammates to schedule and complete jobs.
