Job summary

Protech is offering a Calibration Technician Apprentice position in Victorville, CA. You will receive mentorship and training to learn ADS calibrations per OE specs, with exposure to multiple manufacturers and ongoing education on vehicle technology.

The program aims to promote you to a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of month seven, following a structured apprenticeship path in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance coverage.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have: Previous automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations according to OE specifications and repair standards.
• Gain practical experience across a wide range of manufacturers with mentorship.
• Graduate from Apprentice to Calibration Technician/On-Site Calibration by month seven.

Job Overview

• In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards.
• You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers.
• Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology.
• The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this roll.

Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience.

Demonstrates the ability to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations according to OE specifications and repair standards, while gaining practical experience and mentorship in automotive calibration techniques.
