Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring a Calibration Technician Apprentice to learn how to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations in a production shop. You will receive mentorship, hands-on training, and continue education on new vehicle technology, with a goal to advance within the team by month seven.

The role offers paid hours up to $22.00 per hour, weekly pay, overtime eligibility, and benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus paid vacation

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring for a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice.

In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions - written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
