Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions invites applications for a Calibration Technician Apprentice. This paid apprenticeship provides mentorship and training to learn Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations in line with OE specifications.

You will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of manufacturers and progress toward a calibrated technician role within seven months. Compensation includes up to $22.00 per hour, and benefits from day one (medical, dental, vision), weekly pay with overtime

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older
• Valid driver’s license and eligible for insurance coverage
• Pass pre-employment screenings including background and MVR
• Automotive experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations following OE specifications
• Complete initial training provided by Protech
• Graduate within seven months to a Calibration Technician role or On-Site Calibration
• Work in a production shop with a supportive team

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring for a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice.

In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this role.

Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience

Abilites/Skills/Knowledge

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
