Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking a Calibration Technician Apprentice to learn Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. This paid apprenticeship includes mentorship and training to graduate to a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by month seven.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for our insurance policy.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations per OE specifications.
• Receive mentorship and training to become a calibration technician.
• Support calibration workflow using provided diagnostic tools and software.

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring for a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice. In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this roll.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience.

ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions - written and verbal.
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
