Job summary

Group 1 Chevrolet Hub City in Lubbock, TX is seeking a motivated Accessories Technician to join our service team. You will install a range of vehicle accessories and ensure installations meet manufacturer specs, quality, and safety standards.

We value detail-oriented people with mechanical aptitude who can read installation instructions, work both independently and in a team, and provide excellent customer service. A valid driver's license is required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience installing aftermarket vehicle accessories preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems is an advantage.
• Ability to read installation instructions and technical manuals.
• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Current driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and handle vehicle accessories.
• Must be able to pass respirator exam.

Responsibilities

• Install a wide range of vehicle accessories, including grills, hitches, camper shells, side steps, lighting, bed covers and spray-in liners.
• Perform installations to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve installation issues.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
• Work effectively as part of a team while managing jobs independently.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
