Job summary

OnHires is seeking a Senior Specialist in Automobile Logistics to organize vehicle transportation for our Trading Department in the United States. You will search for carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure timely provision of transport to meet trading needs, while maintaining cost discipline and market awareness.

You will work closely with the Trading Department to balance capacity, routes, and schedule, and coordinate with back-office and carrier partners to secure reliable transport and timely

Qualifications

• Experience in automobile logistics.
• Direct search for vehicles and carriers.
• Own database of carrier contacts is a plus.
• Negotiation experience on transportation rates.
• Strong understanding of the auto freight market.
• Knowledge of rate formation principles.
• Ability to quickly assess market rate for routes.
• Experience handling large volumes of transportation.
• Experience in agro-logistics is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and carrier databases.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of automobile transportation requests from traders.
• Analyze vehicle market and identify carriers.
• Negotiate rates and terms with carriers.
• Ensure required number of vehicles at schedule.
• Monitor transport execution and adjust as needed.
• Maintain carrier database and develop reliable partners.
• Coordinate with Trading Department and back-office.
• Prepare management reports on rates and volumes.
