Job summary

Autosaver Group’s Littleton Auto Body shop in New Hampshire seeks an experienced Auto Body Technician to diagnose damage, perform metal bodywork, and restore vehicles to OEM safety standards and factory specs.

You will repair body damage with frame machines and welding, remove and replace panels, and ensure quality control with estimators. A strong craftsman mindset, 2–5+ years’ experience, and tool ownership are expected—certifications welcome.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of auto body repair experience in a collision shop environment.
  • I-CAR or ASE certifications are highly desirable (or willingness to obtain them).
  • Own the basic tools needed for daily auto body work.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect damaged vehicles to identify structural and non-structural damage.
  • Repair body damage using frame machines, welding equipment, and hand tools.
  • Remove and replace damaged panels, bumpers, glass and trim components.
  • Perform panel straightening, dent repair, and surface preparation.
  • Align vehicle frames using modern measuring equipment.
  • Collaborate with manager, advisor and estimators to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace following OSHA guidelines.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our growing collision repair team. In this role, you will diagnose damage, perform metal bodywork, repair or replace damaged parts and ensure vehicles are restored to OEM safety standards and factory specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly inspect damaged vehicles to identify structural and non-structural collision damage.
  • Repair body damage using frame machines, welding equipment, pulling systems and hand tools.
  • Remove, repair, and replace damaged body panels, bumpers, glass, and mechanical/electrical trim components.
  • Perform panel straightening, dent repair, plastic repairs and surface preparation (sanding, filling, priming).
  • Align vehicle frames and unibody structures using modern measuring equipment.
  • Collaborate with manage, advisor and estimators to maintain quality control and on-time vehicle completion.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace following all OSHA and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5+ years of auto body repair experience in a collision shop environment preferred.
  • Certifications: I-CAR or ASE certifications are highly desirable (or willingness to obtain them).
  • Tools: Possession of personal hand and power tools necessary for daily auto body work.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of vehicle structure, sheet metal repair, plastic repair and OEM repair guidelines.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Mindset: Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship and a dependable work ethic.
