Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience indicated by ASE certifications and relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and determine parts required for repair.
• Adjust, replace, and repair truck and trailer equipment.
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Teardown and inspect for additional repairs.
• Supervise work of any apprentice technicians.

Responsibilities

• Identify and determine parts required for repair; review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Manager notes; follow warranty guidelines; notify supervisor of any repair add ons.
• Adjust, replace, and repair all series of truck and trailer equipment (e.g., sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment of truck cab body components, electrical and mechanical repairs).
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills including truck manufacturer’s repair process.
• Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
• Advise body shop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs or if repairs will not be completed on time.
• Road test vehicles to ensure quality repair.
• Supervise work of any apprentice technicians.
• Maintain ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Welding, suspension, framework experience a plus. OR must be willing to learn/train
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications
• Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair
• Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair
• Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification
• Certifications listed above or equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
