Job summary

Sequoia Connect LLC is seeking an Automation Tester for roles ranging from junior to lead. This position offers fully remote work within the United States and exposure to global technology consulting and digital solutions clients.

Candidates will work with Java, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, and other tools to automate web and API testing, collaborate with multicultural teams, and contribute to quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Automation Tester from junior to lead level.
• Experience with Java, Selenium, ISTQB, testing, web services, AML, and JMeter.
• Postman and REST testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated tests across web and API projects.
• Design test frameworks and maintain test scripts.
• Identify, report, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with global teams in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of programming languages: Java (1.8 or higher), and JavaScript.
• Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, DB2.
• Knowledge of software design patterns.
• Extensive knowledge of automation tools: Selenium, Conveyor, Appium, Jmeter, Postman, and RestAssued.
• Version control handling: Git.

Requirements

• Automation Tester from Jr to lead level.
• Experience with any of the following skills: Java, Selenium, ISTQB, Testing, Webservices, AML, Test Process, Postman, JMeter, etc.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
