Automation Tester

UST is searching for an Automation Tester who will design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium and REST API frameworks
• Contribute to all the testing phase activities as per the release plan
• Participate actively in sprint Agile testing activities
• Learn and apply AI based testing tools for smarter execution and defect analysis
• Execute functional, regression and E2E tests. Learn and apply execution techniques leveraging shared frameworks, cloud platforms
• Learn/build understanding of Telecom domain workflows
• Follow QE standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices

Qualifications

• Level Digital T-Life Automation: Selenium / Playwright, REST API Intermediate
• Hands‑on: 1‑3 years
• Understanding of digital flows (login, browsing, ordering)
• Programming Language: Java / C# / Python / Typescript Intermediate
• Hands‑on: 1‑3 years
• Exposure to Mobile, Web testing (1-2 years) SQL knowledge
• Beginner: 1‑2 years
• Test Grid / Tosca automation (Beginner: 1‑2 years) Gitlab, CI/CD tools
• Beginner: 1‑2 years
• Mobile automation: Appium (Beginner: 1‑2 years)

Location & Compensation

Role Location: Hybrid-Texas

Compensation Range: $51,000 – $77,000
