Job summary

DTCC in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to design and implement test plans, write automation scripts, and ensure end-to-end quality for financial services software.

You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintain test artifacts, and mentor teammates while ensuring risk and control processes are observed throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure
• Prepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
• Maintain traceability from requirements through test cases to automated scripts
• Review test cases / automation approach with stakeholders for coverage
• Track test execution breakthroughs and report issues affecting timelines
• Develop end-to-end business scenarios aligning with objectives
• Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve issues
• Identify environment and data requirements; manage environment and data
• Mentor colleagues on test coverage and test cases
• Develop deep understanding of the product being delivered
• Ensure process compliance and documentation
• Align risk and control processes with day-to-day duties
