Job summary

DTCC is seeking a Test Engineer within the IT FinSight Delivery team to design and execute test plans, develop automation scripts in Selenium Java, and write SQL queries. The role emphasizes end-to-end testing, traceability, and collaboration with delivery pipelines to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of testing experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and hands-on experience with JIRA, ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Selenium Java and automation scripting.
• Strong SQL query skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure.
• Prepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
• Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.
• Review test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback.
• Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.
• Construct end-to-end business scenarios aligned with project objectives.
• Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.
