Job summary

Nokia seeks an Automation Test Engineer to join the NI Hyperscaler NAM Customer Engineering team. You will set up and configure equipment in the Cypress Waters lab, mirror customer environments, and execute thorough test plans to validate product performance.

You will open tickets with R&D to resolve defects and present lab-based solutions to customers. Responsibilities include developing test plans, reporting progress to stakeholders, and working onsite at the Cypress Waters lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in automation testing or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure equipment in the Nokia Cypress Waters lab to mirror customer configurations.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate features and functionality.
• Identify and report issues, opening tickets and collaborating with R&D to resolve defects.
• Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
• Present lab-based solutions to customers, demonstrating product capabilities and value.
• Work independently and manage project execution onsite at the Cypress Waters lab.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance testing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with business objectives.
• Document and maintain accurate records of test results and findings.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance customer validation testing.
