Job summary

TEKsystems in Stafford, VA is seeking a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated test plans and scripts. The role emphasizes automation and integration with Azure DevOps pipelines, working with DevOps Engineers and Developers to ensure quality and scalability of the application.

The ideal candidate will be self-starting, proactive, and capable of cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing automated test plans and scripts.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and collaboration with DevOps teams.
Familiarity with web technologies and API testing is helpful.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement test plans and scripts with emphasis on automation.
Create tests in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Identify and implement tools and frameworks to increase efficiency while ensuring quality.
Assess product and code health, apply modern testing approaches, and prevent defects.
Foster a highly collaborative environment that values quality.
Perform API level testing.
Participate in agile ceremonies with product and program management.
Demonstrate proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
Create end-to-end System Integration test cases for regression automation.
