Job summary

Keysight Technologies is offering an internship in Austin to join our software system testing team. You will develop and maintain automated test cases for Network Visibility Solutions products, learning the product, its requirements, and the automation platform.

You will gain hands-on experience with Python-based frameworks (Robot Framework, Selenium), expand test coverage, and contribute to automation framework enhancements while communicating progress and results with the team.

Qualifications

• College student (CS/CE/EE preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Self-motivated; enthusiastic team player with strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Plus: Agile Scrum development experience.
• Plus: Python/Java for automation testing.
• Plus: virtualized/cloud environments (AWS/KVM/VMware).
• Plus: RESTful web service APIs.
• Plus: automation tools like Selenium or Robot Framework.

Responsibilities

• Review features and feature specifications to understand product requirements.
• Learn about the product under test, testing strategies, and automation tools.
• Develop and execute automated tests including functional, performance, and stress scenarios.
• Develop/enhance automation framework using Python, Robot Framework, or Selenium.
• Track, manage, and communicate progress of test automation.
• Analyze failures and document findings for investigation, verify fixes, and maintain test environment.
