Job summary

IntePros in Berkeley Heights, NJ is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a large enterprise technology team. The role focuses on functional testing, test automation, and performance testing within an Agile environment.

You will design and execute automated test cases with Selenium and Java, contribute to test strategy, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers and QA teams to deliver high-quality software over a 24-month+ contract.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software quality assurance experience.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience using Selenium and Java.
• 2+ years of performance testing experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of functional testing and QA methodologies.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting software defects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• 4+ years of equivalent education, professional experience, and/or military experience.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Berkeley Heights, NJ for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional and automated test cases for enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Perform performance testing to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and system performance risks.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, document findings, and work closely with development teams through resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to test planning, test strategy, regression testing, and release validation.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.
• Work with CI/CD tools and development teams to integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software releases.
