Job summary

Allegion is seeking an automation-focused technician to support and maintain an automated robotic system across the plant. You will work with robots, HMI, and conveyors, troubleshoot faults, and generate CNC code under engineering oversight.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in manufacturing, a degree in automation or engineering, and familiarity with CAD/CAM, Hurco/FOM CNCs, and Yaskawa Motoman robots. On-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

2–3 years of operations/manufacturing experience.
Ability to learn product and finish requirements.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Training in robotic programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain automated robotic system including robots, HMI, and conveyors.
Troubleshoot automated system faults with minor programming adjustments.
Generate NC code for CNC machines under engineering oversight.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, process engineering and materials.
Assist with process improvements and new equipment installations.
Develop and maintain all process documentation.
Collect data to analyze improvements on automated systems.
Adhere to safety guidelines on the manufacturing floor.
