Job summary

Buckeye Global in Lincolnton, NC is seeking Automation Technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and improve automated manufacturing equipment. You will apply electronics, PLCs, pneumatics and vision systems across preventive maintenance, setup, and process improvements.

The role requires reading mechanical and electrical schematics, performing machining and welding, training coworkers, and safely operating forklifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude as assessed through STM test.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, prints, and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to attend technical courses and supplier training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automated manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Document maintenance activities and quality inspection results.
• Perform daily system checks to verify equipment and quality-control systems.
• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
